Xioali “Sky” Wu, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow
Lab of Michael Greenberg
Harvard Medical School

Sky received her Ph.D. in Genetics from Stony Brook University with Chris Vakoc at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Her thesis work focused on defining the master regulators of the chemosensory cells called tuft cells, which led to the discovery of two uncharacterized proteins renamed as OCA-T1 and OCA-T2 as the critical cofactors for both normal and malignant tuft cells. In her postdoc, she is interested in understanding how transcription factors and cofactors regulate the activity-dependent gene expression program in neurons for normal brain development.
